Students in Mrs. Zito's class working on their Book Creator projects
Lyme students in Tech Club have started playing with the green screen app and are creating some great movies.
We are wrapping up our interim assessments and will soon introduce email with 3rd graders.
Mr. Hrozenchik has been working with his 5th grade students creating graphic novels using the Comic feature of the Book Creator app. I can't say enough about this app. It really is a "go-to" app for students in all areas. I will post an example when they are finished.

4th graders at Mile Creek recently completed their Animal Research projects on Powerpoint with Mrs. Velikaneye. This was a collaborative teaching project with Mrs. Whelan and Mrs. Kaczor coming in to work with the students. They did a fantastic job!
5th graders continue to work on Microsoft Word skills at Lyme and we are beginning a Trading Card project as part of our Iditarod Unit in Mrs. Whritner's class at Mile Creek. I have been busy with all of the Technology Integration going on in the district!
Check out the YouTube Videos of our Region 18 Elementary Coders! In the top video, students programmed Dash to play a tune on the Xylophone attachment. In the second video, the children built snowplows out of Legos and attached them to Dash. They evaluated and revised their designs based on how much "snow" (cotton balls) their plows moved.
